Where is the centre of gravity of the AZAR4 mobile capsule?

Driving on uneven ground or on sandy and muddy terrain, it is essential that the weight distribution is appropriate, as well as the low and slightly forward center of gravity of the vehicle. Moving with heavy loads and large dimensions is no longer so easy and not every road will be as accessible as without a capsule, e.g. underground car parks.

Fortunately, AZAR4 mobile capsule has been designed in a way that reduces its negative impact on the center of gravity of the pickup truck and does not burden it, so the car will still overcome even the most difficult terrain despite lifting extra kilograms.

AZAR4- comfort of living without affecting off-road driving

When designing the AZAR4 off-road camper, we went to great lengths to provide customers with the highest possible utility and residental values, as well as the highest comfort of living in any weather and temperature conditions, while limiting the impact of the capsule on the driving comfort of the pickup trucks.

AZAR4 4×4 camper in STANDARD version weighs only ca. 330kg and the PREMIUM version weighs about 530 kg. This is an excellent result considering the load capacity of the pickup trucks at the level of 950 – 1200 kg. Thanks to such a low weight it is possible not only to maintain optimal driving characteristics, but also the ability to take more heavy equipment on the road.

Symmetrical distribution of the heaviest equipment in the lowest level of the capsule

We were able to do that thanks to symmetrical distribution of all the heaviest equipment such as batteries, water tanks and heating systems. They are located in the lowest part of the capsule, what significantly makes the centre of gravity lower and reduces inertia of the capsule during off-road battles. In addition, we have put a large part with a bedroom over the pick-up cabin, providing enough space at the bottom of the capsule for heavier equipment.

Symmetry between kitchen and bathroom

In addition, the symmetrical arrangement of the kitchen and bathroom equipment allowed us to maintain equal pressure on both axles and the wheels of the car. Low and symmetrically located heavy equipment and devices in the capsule and its streamlined shape allow for a truly off-road driving with significant slopes. Similar driving characteristics are often impossible to achieve with capsules offered by other manufacturers.

Additional equipment does not disturb the centre of gravity

Designing the capsule, we also paid attention to the optional equipment placed in symmetrically distributed storage compartments. Filling them does not disturb the symmetry of the car, and all the equipment elements allow you to maintain the center of gravity of the car in the axis of the rear drive. The centre of gravity is directly under the table’s leg in the day zone.

Closed and durable capsule, no worries about winds, rain or extreme temperatures

The proper driving and off-road properties are also influenced by the solidly constructed, streamlined capsule made of durable composite materials. The aerodynamic shape reduces the influence of side and head winds on the stability of the vehicle, and the strong body provides excellent shelter from rain, snow and hail. Adequate thermal insulation allows for effective heating of the interior, and in case of heat, its cooling thanks to an optionally installed air conditioning system or only existing ventilation.
